Fifteen-year-old Da Yu (Chang Yang Yang) is a rebellious loner who doesn’t fit in at school or at home. One day, he gets accused of stealing at school and, unable to withstand the teacher’s humiliating treatment, he chooses to fight back. Taking to the streets, he encounters pickpocket Liao (Tai Bao) and his son Lee (Wu Zhong Tian). Taken in by the feuding father and son, Da Yu begins to view life and family differently, but the awakening may come too late as his new trade hurls him down a dangerous path.
