Victim of Love aka Salt Doll is a melodrama on-location filming in Hokkaido, Japan, and a Korean version of Hollywood's 1993 acclaimed blockbuster Indecent Proposal which stirred up much controversy with its provocative premise. In this SBS's TV drama, Hwang Soo Jung (HurJun) takes on a much talked about role that mirrors Demi Moore's character in the original Hollywood film, playing a wife who sleeps with a wealthy man in exchange for money so she can pay for her husband's hospital fees. This drama marks the actress's long awaited comeback from a five-year hiatus brought on by Hwang's arrest for drugs and her scandalous affair with a married man. Rounding up the cast are Kim Young Ho (Song Of The Prince) who plays Hwang's tormented husband and Kim Yoo Seok (My Ugly Sweetie), who delivers an outstanding performance as the "other man". Capturing each character's emotional turmoil and the moral ramifications of their actions, Victim of Love brings to light one of the most prevalent problems in our society: adultery.
