Go Hyun-Jung (Sandglass), one of the original Korean TV drama megastars, returns after a ten-year hiatus for the eagerly anticipated 2005 SBS mini-series Spring Days. With the combined star power of Go Hyun-Jung, plus Ji Jin-Hee (Dae Jang Geum, Love Letter) and Jo In-Sung (Something Happened in Bali), Spring Days is definitely not your ordinary K-drama series!
Loosely adapted from the popular Japanese drama, Heaven's Coins, Spring Days tells the gripping story of Suh Jung-Eun (Go Hyun-Jung), an elusive beauty who has suffered a trauma so great that she loses the will to speak. Koh Eun-Ho (Ji Jin-Hee) is the doctor who helps Jung-Eun find a way to overcome her past. But just when her gratitude starts to blossom into love, fate cruelly intervenes, leaving Eun-Ho in a coma.
At the hospital Jung-Eun meets Eun-Ho's stepbrother Eun-Sub (Jo In-Sung), who is also a doctor. Despite his best intentions, Eun-Sub finds himself powerless to resist Jung-Eun. Latent rivalries and misunderstandings come to a boil as the two brothers vie for Jung-Eun's affection.
Featuring an all-star cast and a compelling story, Spring Days is a highly acclaimed 20-episode K-Drama for all seasons.
Koh Eun-ho (Ji Jin-hee) is a doctor who goes to Cheju Island to work in a clinic. His father owns a hospital, and had divorced his mother when he was a child to marry a barmaid. There, Koh Eun-ho builds a relationship with the timid Suh Jung-eun (Go Hyun-jung). Jung-eun starts out as a mute person, due to the fact that she was traumatized in the past, therefore she chooses not to speak a word. She is capable, but very unwilling. However, Eun-ho helps her get over the past, and motivates Jung-eun to be heard. Jung-eun is ever so grateful to Eun-ho, and the bond between them seem very strong.
When Eun-ho builds up the courage to find his mother, Jung-eun finally speaks out telling him that he must come back to her. Unfortunately while driving with his mother, they gets into a car accident which killed his mother, and he ended in a coma.
When Jung-eun hears about the incident she quickly goes to Eun-ho's side in the hospital (the hospital his father owns). There, Jung-eun is introduced to Eun-ho's half brother, Eun-sub (Jo In-sung). Eun-sub's mother was a woman of lies and manipulation, therefore his relationship with his mother were not good.
His relationship with his father is even worse. Eun-sub's interests is in music, but is forced to work as a doctor. He can be quite immature, and only thinks of himself. He doesn't have a good relationship with Eun-ho either and strongly believes that Eun-ho despises him and he tried to compete with Eun-ho in whatever he does.
Not surprisingly, Eun-sub falls hard for the naive, pure Jung-eun. But, she is his brother's girlfriend...
