An acclaimed animation director Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli bring their latest masterpiece, "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" on DVD. A 5-year-old boy Sosuke who lives in a house on the cilff befriends a strange looking goldfish who has flown to the shore from her home on jelly fish. After taking a great liking to her, Sosuke names her Ponyo and promises to protect her. This makes Ponyo very happy and she decides to live with Sosuke as a human, even though she is a magical fish. However, her father Fujimoto tries to bring her back to her home in deep ocean, because if she gives up her underwater life a crack in the ancient magic spell would be created, placing the world in a grave danger. Sosuke and Ponyo must set things right.
