The latest comedy starring Lee Beom-Soo, directed by the Assistant Director of Just Do It - Lee Young-Eun.
 The rather simple English title hides the double entendre of the Korean title, where IDaeRo means "This Way" (Full Korean Title is either "Lee Dae-Ro, can't die" or "You Can't Die This Way") but also the name of the character played by Lee Beom-Soo.
The bright images and old style editing are common plot devices, but the comic timing is quite good. It's a little over the top, but as the movie passes by the humour created by the interaction between Lee Beom-Soo, Son Hyun-Joo and Choi Sung-Gook 's ensemble is not bad at all. Stubbornly refusing to turn into a melodrama in the second part is one of the film's best traits.
A very acceptable comedy. One of its finer points is giving life to the three main characters. Lee Beom-Soo brings the dough, Son Hyun-Joo stirs it, and Choi Sung-Gook adds the seasoning. The film is effective in hitting the right notes at the right time for the public. There are a few instances were the ambition of a first time director shows, but as a whole, if you want to call it a flaw, it tries too hard to entertain mixing laughter and tears.
 This action comedy marks the directorial debut of Lee Young Eun. Lee Bum Soon stars as Dae Ro, a cop who is hero-worshipped by his young daughter. The truth, however, is far from pretty. Dea Ro is corrupt to the core, doing whatever he can to stay out of harm's way. He is only interested in bribe money and chasing women, until one day he learns a shocking truth.
Dae Ro discovers that he has a serious brain tumor, and the doctors tell him he only have three months left to live. Worried about his daughter's future, he plots to stage his own death so that she can collect the pay out from his insurance policy. But will he manage to do it in time, before the tumor gets the better of him?
