Golden couple Ming Dao and Joe Chen from The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog team up again for the new idol drama My Best Pals. There are four well-known students at Ying Ye Commercial School - handsome and righteous Jiang (Ming Dao) who is always eager to defend those in need; police chief's daughter Xia Tian (Joe Chen); rich, rebellious, and righteous Fang Wei (Jerry Huang); and Bulu (Jason Hsu), the son of a martial arts teacher. Dubbed "Ying Ye 3+1" by other students, these four friends are skilled in fighting and never back away from a challenge. A month before graduation, Xia Tian's father loses his handgun, and the friends take on the urgent task of recovering it. Their investigation leads them to a strange ghost house, which points them to school secrets and the whereabouts of a wanted criminal. The friends continue digging in confusion until one day a mysterious gunshot disrupts the peace of the school, throwing everyone into danger.
